Sanibel Candle Company

Sanibel Candle Company, founded by Tom and Pam Stumph in July 2021, began on Sanibel Island with the dream of sharing its magic through handcrafted candles. The company set itself apart by offering unique in-peson candle making classes, where patrons could create their own special fragrances. Originally located at Periwinkle Place Shops, the company’s journey took a turn in September 2022, when Hurricane Ian displaced many local businesses, including theirs.

In search of a new home, they found the perfect spot at Bell Tower in Fort Myers, where the open-air tropical atmosphere offered a warm and inviting setting for visitors to create custom candles and experience the essence of Sanibel. Later in 2023, Sanibel Candle Company expanded to an additional location inside The Franklin Shops, where it offers its signature glass vessel candles, tins, wax melts, room sprays, and more. Through resilience and passion, Sanibel Candle Company continues to bring the spirit of the island to life, one candle at a time.
