The Franklin Shops on First Street is located in the heart of beautiful Downtown Fort Myers River District.This newly renovated store was once known as the Franklin Hareware Building constructed in 1937. The building was quite modern for the time and one of the few in Fort Myers with such clear Art Deco features. We have kept its original charm on the outside with modern up-scale shopping located on the inside of this two story building with co-op boutiques, square spaces for mini boutiqe displays on both floors, large bay window displays and Pop-up Shops.
The Fort Myers River Districts is experiencing a remarkable renaissance. Known for its architecturally diverse historic buildings and a business and government center the district is growing in its selectors of fine restaurants, retail, and upscale living. Interestingly, the trend continues with an exciting insurgence of fine art and theatre.
